In May 2009, Tansley was very pleased to welcome Steve and his family to our faith community.

Steve is excited about potential for ministry at Tansley and passionate about building God's church in this area. "I believe that the church holds a critical place in each of our lives, a place that cannot be filled elsewhere. A church community is one which combines both faith and fun and gives expression to our deepest spiritual needs."

Outside of ministry, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife, Catherine, and two teenage children Andrew and Georgia. Steve is an avid golfer and enjoys a great many outdoor activities, including canoeing and skiing. He also plays guitar and enjoys music.

Ordained in 1987, Steve has served the church from Newfoundland to Australia, as well as three congregations in Ontario. He looks forward to meeting people and developing relationships here in Burlington.
