Tansley United Church will be hosting an Electronics Drop off and Recycle Event.  Please drop off your old computers, printers, copiers, cell phones, fax machines, televisions, stereos, speakers etc to the Tansley United Church parking lot. 

The Ontario Government has an initiative to divert 88,000 tons of electronic waste from the local landfill sites and Tansley United Church has agreed to help Burlington residents take on this challenge. 

Please save your old electronics for our event and go out to your friends, relatives and neighbours and help us spread the word.  The more people who are aware of this event, the more successful we will be.

Tansley is located on Walker's Line just north of Upper Middle Rd.

Please help us help Tansley and the Environment by supporting this wonderful Eco Friendly Event.

TANSLEY GIFT CARD FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
 
If you buy coffee, gas, groceries, movies, books, electronics etc then you can contribute money to Tansley United Church at no cost to you! 

Every Sunday there will be a table at the back of the church and an order sheet with many stores like:

• Tim Horton's, Pizza Pizza, Wendy's
• Boston Pizza, Kelsey's, Keg
• Petro Canada, Esso, Ultramar
• Home Depot, Rona
• Cineplex
• Chapters
• Fortino's, Longo's, Metro, Freshco
• Shoppers Drug Mart

Simply fill out the number and value of gift cards you would like to purchase and give a cheque payable to Tansley United Church for the face value of the cards. 

The cards you order will arrive for pick up at our table at the back of the Sanctuary the following Sunday.  The company we are working with is called VISTA and they will give us an extra 2-10% bonus depending on the store.  At present we know of churches and schools who are raising thousands of dollars with this successful program.
