The UCW also runs Tansley Traditions each fall, a craft sale, tea room & silent auction that raises money for endeavours such as Halton Women's Place, Wesley Center and Tansley's Youth Groups.
On a typical evening about 15 to 20 women attend, usually from 7:30 p.m. to about 9:30 p.m. at the church.
Events for 2012:
Tansley United Church Women will meet at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, February 21st - Shrove Tuesday. We look forward to welcoming Miriam Flynn as our speaker. All women are welcome to join us for an evening of fellowship, worship and refreshments.
We have speakers planned for our January and February meetings and in March we traditionally go to a movie. All women are welcome - come out and bring a friend.
